Alex Walker - Drums
Currently studying for his A-Levels, Alex has been playing drums for around 6 years. For a while, he played with a semi-serious jazz band, but he was soon beckoned by the bony finger of rawk! Indeed, for the best part of 3 years, Alex became a disciple of the metal they call "heavy"! He was playing with various metal and hardcore bands when Sunflies came along, presenting him with the opportunity to develop true depth and versatility in his playing. Such was Alex's enthusiasm for this new challenge, that Sunflies were able to play a (very successful) gig after just two rehearsals with their new drummer! Whilst a drastic change of direction is not on the cards for Sunflies, Alex brings a new and exciting dynamic to the band, and something tells us that double-kick drum will work it's way into one or two songs before long!
