James Scott - Songwriter/Guitar/Vocals
Born in the year of punk to an Anglo-Indian Karate teacher father and an English mother in a multi-cultural satellite of London, the Sunflies frontman was raised on a diet of Catholicism, Buddhism and Star Wars. The themes of balance, compassion and karma reoccur throughout Sunflies material and it is clear that this is a band flying the flag for evolution (not 'revolution', Mr. Partridge). "I truly believe that if we were all completely honest with ourselves, the world would be a much better place. Sunflies is about acknowledging your dark side, so that you can address your problems and live a more fulfilling life. How can you truly love and be loved if you don't know who you are? And isn't that what life's about?" Hippy.
